Bypassing the Ballot Box
A near deja vu. As stuffing the ballot box hasn’t produced the desired results. Parts of HR 3753/S 1691 have been tacked onto another bill.

When Andrea and I write posts here or in the atypicalife, we sometimes have a few grammatical errors in them. Most of them are typos and the remainder are usually us changing our mind half way through a sentence.
But, I’ve got to say, Sara Jenkins has got to get a press agent. The latest press release for her ‘comprehensive guide’ that takes 50 minutes to read is atrocious. Here’s a sample:
The statistics so far emerging has plenty to confirm this argument.
Hunh?
So how do the parents cope in these circumstances, where a lack of planning could seriously jeopardize their children’s homeschooling plans, especially in those areas, where homeschooling was seen by the state authorities as a negative vibe.
Pick a tense and go with it (but don’t run on too far).
There are papers to be filled out, curricula to get decided, and the school committees to be aptly convinced about.
I’ll get right on that.
What makes her homeschooling ebook guide … more significant, according to Sara, is the manner that she has chosen to communicate her ideas with.
more significant than???
Tenniel atSCHOOL@HOME is asking what makes a homeschooler a homeschooler? She’s soliciting blog entires on the subject.
Many of you have strong opinions on this issue and many of you are very smart and passionate about this subject. Let us work together to see if we can come up with good ways to define homeschooling and protect the rights of all homeschoolers.
Spunky has a post up to nominate in oodles of categories! Go see!
Earlier this week, Andrea announced our Carnival of Unschooling.
This is a post is for the carnival and is on the subject of Christian Unschooling. I have posted 3 previous articles related to Christian Unschooling here, here and here. We have also discussed the subject in the forum.
In the second of the articles, I said that after the 3 of them we would be in a postion to discuss Christianity and unschooling.

Right now I am in the middle of backing up all our stuff on that other server. I may have lost some mail, I can’t quite tell yet.
Emma had a runny nose all day yesterday so you know it made her sick. It snowed big fat wet fluffy balls from the sky, but most of it is gone today. We had adventures and fun and a couple of headaches.
But the upside is look at all the learning happening! I cna backup my entire site and will soon be restoring it to a new server where it should look the same as always and behave a whole lot better.
Just as I was getting caught up with the housework, too. Darn it.
This is getting ver monototnous and tiring. My personal blgo is down yet again, This time, as soon as I can get ot my data, I will be moving it. Meanwhile, I have pointed the domain to a new server (the one this site is hosted on) and as soon as the domain repropagates we shall be halfway back.
That might take up to four days. The up side is I should be posting here more often.
Spunky has done it again! This time a great idea for a Homeschooling Blog Awards.
Details still to be ironed out, and I need to find my nice jammies.
But my favorite category so far? Best Canadian Homeschool Blog.
