  1. I hate this comment in the article:
    “He says the case “pits those who believe parental rights are paramount against those who place a premium on well-educated citizens.””
    It’s stated as if a parent who believes in parental rights to educate their child doesn’t also place a premium on well-educated citizens.

    It’s rather slanted. A well-educated citizen can come from a home school environment. Heck up until ‘recently’ in our history, the majority of our well-educated citizens were home schooled!

  2. Yes, and how many homeschooling parents don’t place a premium on well-educated citizens?

    It isn’t like there are a mass of homeschooling parents who are saying I want to give my child(ren) a second rate education because it’s my right.
