Last year for Canada Day, Lakeville had fireworks in the evening. This year, the community group decided to have a parade. They asked me to participate. So, this morning was mostly spent preparing for the parade or waiting for it to start. When I saw the full lineup of all the participants, I was wondering how many people would be left to watch it pass by.
The convenience store driveways and parking were full and the road was lined with people from there through most of the rest of the parade route. There were people on nearly every lawn. Needless to say, there were quite a few people who had come in from the surrounding communities.
