		<description>Wow, Andrea, good concise stuff!  We just had a Homeschooling 101 Seminar at the local library last week.  I&#039;m still recovering.  (Which means that I still need to put away my horde of Home Ed mags and catalogs and books that I hauled over there.  I know they had a place before, but that place has magically filled up with more books, mags, etc.)  

Anyway, we had a small group of moms with younger ones. It was nice to see them getting started before the schooling started. I wish we&#039;d been that smart with our older kids.

And we covered everything that you laid out above.  One thing that was asked was how to be frugal on the generally one income lifestyle of homeschooling.  My suggestion is to find a good library as I&#039;m amazed at what can be found there.  Ebay comes in handy too.
