SATURDAY EVENING POST – Nov 12, 2005

I almost forgot to post this tonight. I was off distracted on something else. Anyway, this is a paper I wrote almost 5 years ago called, ‘The Life of Christ’. It was really the background I used/applied to the Master Plan Of Evangelism in developing the Master Plan of Education.

This is a long post. It’s about 6800 words. When I wrote it, it was supposed to be 5000. I think I hacked it down to the 6800 from something near 10,000. For what it’s worth, the comment I received back that it was one of the best that the professor had seen on the subject.

SATURDAY EVENING POST – Nov 5, 2005

Recently, I’ve read alot of blog entries about an article/interview of unschoolers. There seems to be some concern within the Christian blogging community regarding unschooling and Christianity. I decided that this subject would be a good followup to last week’s Saturday Evening Post. Next week I’ll post a third article which I wrote a number of years ago. Perhaps after the 3 posts, we’ll be in a position to discuss the applicability of unschooling within Christianity.

SATURDAY EVENING POST

This week Carrie, at Mommy Brain, had 2 entries (here and here) on problems in the leadership of her church.
I commented

…on the third page of “Spiritual Authority”, Watchman Nee said, “…it is possible in our work to stand with Christ in doctrine while standing with Satan in principle.”

What he means is that it is possible to have a Godly end in mind and use Satan’s methods of achieving it. in our society some say, ‘the end justifies the means’.
