This was one of our remaining remnants of winter. I took both the next 2 pictures yesterday.

It started out like this in mid-February:

Emma's castle

The only thing between us and the ground was snow. The castle had 4 entrances, 2 on each side of the hill.

  1. The pictures are gorgeous! I tried to comment to you on Andrea’s blog, but I couldn’t. I just wanted to let you know I am thinking about you guys, and I am glad she’s recovering well.

  2. Our tunnels are long gone – and now it’s time to mow. I’m not sure whether I should be excited or bummed.

  3. Wow – my kids would’ve loved something like that! I thought we were done with winter, too, but woke up to a light snowfall this morning.

  4. Steph – I passed it on.

We have a while before we have to start mowing. Mowing season is very short in NB :/

What you need for good castles like that is successive snowfalls, warm days and cold nights.

  5. Wow. We have never had snow like that. Knock on wood! Who needs a tv with all of that play material?
