Learning Style Quiz

I encountered the theories behind learning styles while taking Adult Ed courses. I even have a few surveys that you can use to identify your own learning style. I have to say, Carolyn came up with an original set of questions. The results I got were no surprise:

Tactile Learner
You are a Tactile Learner. You want to get your

hands into any project. You like math

manipulatives, art supplies (paint, clay,

etc.), and other touchy-feely learning aids.

You learn best by building models or dioramas

yourself. If you can touch something and

hold it, you’re more likely to remember it.

  1. No surprises here, either. Visual Learner. Although I suspect Auditory Learner was very high as well. I can remember anything if it’s put to music. On other quizes I’ve taken visual/auditory are neck in neck. Which is why I struggle with finding ways to teach my tactile learner!

  2. Visual Learner
You are a Visual Learner. You like to see things

for yourself, read the directions, and study

the diagrams. You learn well through

reading, and seeing pictures, models, and

    visual demonstrations. You notice minute

details and are fascinated by the intricacies

    of the world around you.

  3. Carrie – you might also see why Andrea and I sometimes ‘duke it out’ ;) ’cause our approach is so different.
